What a difference a door makes!

Doors may seem like a strange place to start writing a blog, but hey, I am new to this and wanted to share something I am really excited about. As we rehab our precious little bungalow, my wife and I are trying to keep things as close to original as possible. No hollow core doors here, only the real deal. I visited #Schillersalvage in Tampa and found doors from the original Belleview Biltmore Resort. They are perfect except for one minor detail. The doorways in our home are 30" wide (give or take) the doorways in the Biltmore were. . . a little wider. Trimming the edges was not an option due to the beautiful detailing. The only solution, remove a section in the middle of course! I have been back to Schillers several times to find original hardware - door knobs, lock sets and even a skeleton key to open them all!
